Private lessons for children, adults and learners over 60, at the National Stadium or a venue nearer to you. Bike, helmet and safety gear are provided and sized to the learner. Prices are per hour and published below; nothing is hidden behind a call.
From about the age a child can reach the pedals of a small bike. We bring a bike sized to them and adjust it on the spot. Games, cones and a coach riding alongside; no running behind holding the saddle. Turning, braking, one-hand signalling and mounting follow once they are pedalling.
You never learned, or you learned to be afraid. Both are common, and both are fixable. The lesson is private: nobody watches, nobody rushes. Balance first, then steering, then pedals, then the real world: turns, slopes, crowded paths, crossing roads.
Learners who were never given the chance. Single-learner lessons only: a learner over 60 needs the coach’s full attention and closer supervision, so we do not teach 60+ learners in duos or groups. Same hour, same price as a single lesson.
Private lessons only. School and organisation programmes are quoted on enquiry.
one learner, one coach
/ hr
The coach’s eyes are on one person for the whole hour. This is the format for learners over 60, and for anyone who would rather nobody else was there.
two learners together
/ hr
Two learners, one coach. Siblings, a parent and child, two friends. Each learner still gets their own bike and their own next step.
small group
+ $60 / hr per extra learner
The duo rate plus $60 an hour for each learner beyond the second. Five learners is the maximum, so every learner is still watched.
any format
Pay for five lessons upfront and the total is discounted by 10 per cent. Useful once a learner is riding and wants turns, braking, slopes and public paths.
No. We bring a bike sized to the learner, a helmet and safety gear. If you already have a bike you want to learn on, bring it and the coach will set it up for you.
You do not need to. The saddle is lowered so both feet reach the ground, and you learn to glide and balance before a pedal is ever touched. The coach rides or walks alongside, and speed comes only after control does.
Most learners, children and adults, are pedalling on their own inside the first hour. A second and third lesson usually cover turning, braking, mounting and riding among other people. Learners who want to ride on public paths and cross roads often come back for a few more, sometimes a year or two later.
Once a child can sit on a small pedal bike with both feet flat on the ground and follow simple instructions for an hour. We have taught three-year-olds; five to seven is the most common age. If you are unsure, message us with their height and we’ll tell you honestly.
The National Stadium promenade is under the roof, so light rain is not a problem. If the weather is unsafe the coach will message you to move the lesson. Nothing is lost.
English, Chinese and Hokkien. Tell us which when you enquire.
No booking system, no forms that go nowhere. A message reaches a coach, and you’ll usually hear back within the day.
