Coach Elise has been a leisure runner for 25 years, competing since secondary school, and came to cycling through triathlon about seven years ago. Her family objected at first; she won them over. She is a mother of four, which is where her patience with beginners comes from, and she has a particular passion for guiding people through the first, frightened hour.
She has facilitated cycling programmes for ActiveSG, MOE secondary schools and special-needs schools, and coaches children and adults privately. Learners describe lessons that are structured, customised to the person in front of her, and never rushed.
